How Union Bank of India tends to lend (our read): Scheme-by-scheme PSU lender. The mainstream salaried personal loan is small-ticket (Rs 5-15 lakh) and easier with a Union salary account; the home loan has no published upper cap and the widest age window in the panel (18 to 75). Lends in: Metro, Tier 2, Tier 3 / other locations.

Research notes
Union Personal (salaried, non-government): minimum gross salary Rs 15,000/month (Rs 20,000 in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Pune), age 18 to one year before retirement, up to 60 months, Rs 5 lakh for a first-time borrower rising to Rs 15 lakh with a 2-year repayment record (Rs 15 lakh outright under the tie-up scheme). Non-salaried scheme: Rs 5 lakh new / Rs 15 lakh existing, repayment up to age 75. The professional scheme (CA, CS, doctors, engineers, Rs 12 lakh+ income) goes to Rs 20 lakh; the 700 CIBIL floor is published on that scheme. Self-employed income floor (Rs 1.8 lakh p.a.) is not published - a nominal figure so the engine has something to size against. Interest rate is not on the product page; the engine's PSU rate card is used.

Research notes
Union Home: the product page gives entry age 18 and exit age up to 75 for Indian citizens and NRIs, no ceiling on the amount and LTV 90/80/75% (RBI bands); the documents FAQ page instead says age 21-65 (conflict recorded, product page used), tenure 5 to 30 years and no prepayment charges. The retail ROI PDF dated 8 Oct 2026 prices floating loans from 7.40% (CIBIL 825+) to 9.60% (600-649), with fixed rates of 11.40-12.65%. No income floor is published - the nominal Rs 10,000 floor only stops the engine sizing against zero. A 0.50% processing fee capped at Rs 15,000 was recorded on the Sep 2026 pass, but a campaign FAQ now says nil. Tagged inferred because the income floor (and, where noted, the minimum age) is our value, not the bank's.

18 to 75 years (age when the loan ends)
Minimum credit score
700 (CIBIL or equivalent)
Vehicles financed
New car, used car, two wheeler
Tenure

Research notes
Union Bank's Vehicle Loan page covers new four-wheelers (no ceiling), used four-wheelers up to 3 years old (Rs 20 lakh max) and new two-wheelers (Rs 10 lakh max), and says CIBIL 700 is currently required for further processing. Age 18-75 and tenures of 84 months new / 60 months used / 36 months two-wheeler (60 under tie-up) were read on the rendered page in Sep 2026; margin differs for salary-account holders but is not published. No income floor or rate is published, so the block is inferred; the 12-month minimum tenure is our estimate. Union Parivahan (new transport vehicles for businesses, up to Rs 5 crore) is a separate scheme with no published criteria.
Abroad Category A/B scheme: processing Rs 10,000 + GST up to Rs 40 lakh, Rs 20,000 + GST above.

Abroad Category A/B (full-time PG at designated premium universities): Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 150 lakh, parent or spouse co-applicant/guarantor with CIBIL 650+ (or -1), repayment up to 15 years after course + 1 year, NRIs excluded; the 650 score is scheme-specific so it is not set as a general gate. No general collateral-free limit, student age or education rate is published, so none is modelled; the 12-month minimum term and Rs 50,000 minimum amount are our estimates.
