Research notes
Bank of Baroda's Baroda Car Loan page publishes borrower age 21 to 70 at maturity, CIBIL 701 (a -1 / no-history score also eligible) and no flat income floor: the income test is a total-deduction ceiling of 60% / 70% / 80% for salaried gross income under Rs 50,000 / Rs 50,000-1.5 lakh / above, and 60% / 80% for others under / over Rs 6 lakh a year, so maxFoir is the conservative 0.6 band. Up to 90% of on-road price over up to 84 months; the FAQ's Rs 2 crore individual cap is used (feature text says Rs 5 crore, for non-individuals per the FAQ) and the Rs 1 lakh minimum and 12-month minimum tenure are our estimates. Collateral-free limits are published only for the Premier Institutions scheme (AA Rs 40 lakh, A Rs 30 lakh, B Rs 15 lakh, C Rs 10 lakh), so no general limit is modelled; the student age cap of 40 applies only to the Digital Education Loan. Rate: page says from 7.1% (central card spreads run BRLLR - 1.05% for PM Vidyalaxmi top institutes to BRLLR + 2.00% for non-premier abroad up to Rs 7.5 lakh); card predates the Oct 2026 benchmark change; adjusted +0.25, and the 10.15% cap is our estimate from that table. No tenure, income floor or score is published; the Rs 50,000 minimum is our estimate (no minimum is published).
